School Uniform

We strongly believe that school uniform fosters a sense of belonging and contributes to our school ethos and equal opportunities.  We really appreciate families supporting our school uniform and we are delighted that our children look so smart.

Hawkedale Primary School uniform colours are green, charcoal grey and white.

 

Uniform

Charcoal grey pinafore or skirt

Charcoal grey trousers

Bottle green sweatshirt or cardigan

White or bottle green polo shirt or blouse

White, green, grey or black socks or tights

Black shoes (no trainers)

Green and white gingham dress/playsuit (for Summer)

Charcoal grey shorts/culottes (for Summer)

 

PE kit

House colour t-shirt

Black jogging bottoms/leggings

Black pull on or zip up hoodie

Black shorts (for Summer)

It is essential that all clothing and possessions are clearly marked with your child’s name.

 

Footwear

Boots and shoes that require a lot of lacing are not appropriate for school.  Shoes with high heels, flip-flops and open toed sandals are hazardous for the children as they run about the playground and are not recommended.

 

Jewellery & Personal

Surrey Local Authority recommends that jewellery should not be worn by the children at school as it may cause injury to them or to other children.  Should a child have their ears pierced then a set of small studs can be worn, the children must be able to remove them prior to PE lessons for safety.
